Maha Raas Organized at GDMCMT Colleges Jodhpur, September 27 – On the auspicious occasion of Navratri, a grand Garba Festival “Maha Raas 2025” was organized with great enthusiasm at GDMCMT Colleges, located at Sector 4, Kudi Bhagtasni, Jodhpur. On this occasion, the Hon’ble Mayor of Jodhpur North, Mrs. Kunti Devraj Parihar, attended as the Chief Guest. She described Garba tradition as a priceless heritage of Indian culture and appreciated the enthusiasm of the students. The program was presided over by Mr. S.N. Kachhawaha, Chairman of Lucky Shikshan Sansthan. The event was graced by Chief Guest Mrs. Kunti Devraj Parihar, Dr. Manish Kachhawaha (Director, Lucky Shikshan Sansthan), Mrs. Ragini Kachhawaha (Principal, Lucky International School), Dr. Arjun Singh Sankhla (Principal, Lucky College), Prof. J.J. Mishra (Academic Director, G.D. Memorial College), and Dr. Umer Gilolia (Principal, G.D. Memorial College of Pharmacy). The program began with the aarti of Maa Bhagwati. On this occasion, Dr. Manish Kachhawaha, Director of Lucky Shikshan Sansthan, actively participated in the Raas and encouraged students to stay connected with their culture. During the Garba festival, students dressed in colorful traditional attire enthusiastically participated in the Maha Raas. Various competitions were also organized, including Best Costume, Best Dance, and Best Dandiya, and the winners were felicitated with prizes. The event was conducted by Mr. Jitendra Sevag. All assistant professors, staff members, and students were present on this occasion.
